Sales Director

As a Sales Director for Darcyweil in the APAC region, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and expand market presence. This pivotal role involves leading a high-performing sales team, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring alignment with regional market trends and customer needs.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market presence
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, driving performance and achieving sales targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
- Negotiate and close major contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer requirements
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions and maintain competitive advantage
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and engineering, to align sales strategies with product offerings
- Manage and report on sales performance, providing regular updates and insights to senior management
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities, ensuring consistent revenue growth
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and network with key industry players
- Ensure compliance with regional regulations and company policies throughout the sales process
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client needs and resolving any issues promptly
- Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably in the energy storage sector
- Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with experience leading diverse sales teams
- Deep understanding of the APAC energy market and energy storage technologies
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing market opportunities
- Experience in managing large-scale contracts and complex sales processes
- Ability to travel extensively across the APAC region as required
