Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Specialist to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing customer shopping experiences through visual merchandising, improving navigation and discoverability.

You will work closely with the Purchasing team to analyze market research and data, creating optimal shopping experiences for customers. If you are passionate about delivering exceptional customer-centricity and optimizing customer journeys, this is an ideal opportunity to advance your career.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage online visual merchandising in line with brand guidelines across Kogan.com subsidiary websites.
  • Develop knowledge of product categories and customer shopping behavior through extensive online research and Google Analytics.
  • Research product specification requirements to set standards for suppliers.
  • Implement product merchandising best practices and quality control processes with the Purchasing team.
  • Maintain and update website content, including navigation, search optimisation, category and product page updates.
  • Conduct customer and competitor research to build a deep understanding of category merchandising.
  • Analyze visitor browsing, purchasing behavior, and customer journeys to ensure customer-centric communication.
  • Support data analysis to drive business decisions and inform product strategies.
  • Partner with teams to support website improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • University Degree qualified in Marketing, Communications or similar field.
  • Experience in Online Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Website Layouts, Category Management or CX functions.
  • Passionate about understanding consumer behavior and improving customer experience.
  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented, with experience working with web analytics tools.
  • Exceptional multitasking abilities and Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Inquisitive and ready to be challenged.
