Mine Production Operations Manager

About the Role:
- Manage production operations to achieve business objectives in safety, environment, and efficiency.
- Lead a team of shift undermanagers and engineering coordinators to implement mine plans effectively.
This role involves monitoring systems, identifying improvement opportunities, and formulating alternatives.
The successful candidate will report to the Mine Manager and be responsible for:
- Managing daily operations to meet plan objectives.
- Liaising with other superintendents to achieve targets.
- Providing input into annual budgeting process.
- Developing effective communication strategies for the team.
Candidates must possess relevant qualifications, experience, and skills including strong understanding of mine safety and environmental systems.
A high level of computer literacy, excellent work ethic, and attendance record are also essential.
Job Requirements- Diploma in Underground Coal Mining Management or equivalent.
- Current practicing certificate.
- 10+ years management experience in mining industry or similar.
