Creative Writer Job Description

At ARN, a leader in audio in Australia, the successful Creative Writer will be responsible for creating high-quality audio content that meets client objectives and those of the Creative, Sales, and Content departments.

About the Role:
  • Develop compelling audio content for clients that drives results and aids Sales in growing business.
  • Enhance AmplifyCBR/ARN's on-air sound and audio executions through creative work.
  • Ensure all audio content adheres to Broadcasting Codes and Standards, the Trade Practices Act, and relevant legal guidelines.
  • Collaborate with Sales to deliver effective solutions, results, and client experiences.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships for all creative requirements.
  • Attend client meetings, take creative briefs, and present marketing solutions.
  • Ensure all work is quoted and approved by clients.
  • Casting of voices, music, and SFX as needed.
  • Assist with department administration as required.
  • Voice commercials as needed for AmplifyCBR/ARN.
  • Support other markets' creative departments with writing requirements when needed.

About You:
  • 2+ years of experience in Radio, Audio, or Agency Creative Teams or equivalent.
  • Experience in casting and directing voice talent.
  • Collaboration with Sound designers, e.g., directing, music, and sound effect selection.
  • Degree or Diploma in Business/Advertising/Marketing or higher desirable.
  • Ability to work in a creative and collaborative work environment.
