We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Administrator to join our team. As a Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for administering the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of processing and payments in conjunction with the payroll team.
The ideal candidate will have a proven background within a dedicated payroll position and enjoy working in a team-based organisation. You will have previously had experience with payroll processing, superannuation payments, queries, and recommending new initiatives.
This role requires excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Previous experience in payroll (3-4 years) is essential, along with well-developed Excel skills and high volume end-to-end payroll experience.
You will be responsible for calculating and processing payrolls using timesheets and leave forms in accordance with policies, procedures, regulations, contracts, award applications, and legislative requirements.
The core responsibilities of this role include:
- Administering the end-to-end payroll process
- Calculating and processing payrolls using timesheets and leave forms
- Providing payroll support and advice to employees & managers on all payroll related issues
- Generating Salary, superannuation, annual leave, on-cost, payroll tax and annual leave accrual, journals
- Calculating payroll tax for all states and lodging monthly returns
- CALCULATING DEDUCTIONS TERMINATION AND REDUNDANCY PAYS AS WELL AS PROCESS WORKERS COMPENSATION
To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess strong attention to detail, knowledge of legislative/statutory requirements for superannuation PAYG Tax, workers' compensation and termination of pay processing.
