About the Position

We seek a skilled and compassionate clinician to provide high-quality care to patients across Australia through virtual consultations.

This role involves conducting virtual consultations via phone and video, providing prescriptions, referrals, and pathology requests, as well as reviewing structured patient histories and carrying out follow-ups and long-term care management.

The ideal candidate is a motivated and independent professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who is comfortable working in a remote environment and managing their time effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual consultations for general health concerns, chronic conditions, and acute presentations
  • Provide prescriptions, referrals, pathology requests, and ongoing treatment plans
  • Review structured patient histories before consultations to improve clinical efficiency
  • Carry out follow-ups and long-term care management, ensuring continuity of care
  • Support a diverse patient base, including individuals in regional and remote areas who may have limited access to in-person care

Requirements:

  • Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Medicare Provider Number eligibility to claim, refer, and request services
  • Proficiency with digital patient management software (telehealth experience preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, managing time effectively
