Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage daily cafe operations to ensure seamless and high-quality service.
- Collaborate with chefs to plan and design menus, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Strategically plan and organize special events and functions, ensuring all aspects are coordinated for successful experiences.
- Oversee purchasing and pricing of goods, adhering to budgetary constraints while maintaining high standards for quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Maintain detailed records of stock levels, financial transactions, and inventory to optimize operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and functional environment.
- Actively engage with customers to assess satisfaction with meals and service, addressing any issues promptly.
- Recruit, train, and supervise staff, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.
- Conduct regular quality checks on food preparation, presentation, and service to ensure high standards.
Requirements
- Minimum bachelor's level qualifications in hospitality management or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year experience in restaurant/cafe management or a related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of cafe/restaurant operations, including inventory management, scheduling, and financial controls.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with poise.
