Role Overview:

The role of Senior Air Quality Engineer is to lead the technical aspects of projects related to air quality, with a focus on improving technical capability and capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct air quality assessments across various sectors
  • Consult with clients, project managers, and colleagues on technical matters
  • Plan and coordinate technical projects, ensuring successful outcomes
  • Supervise data collection, modelling, post-processing, analysis, interpretation, and documentation of technical results
  • Write comprehensive technical reports
  • Assist in proposal preparation
  • Lead technical teams to ensure technical excellence and quality of analysis and reporting
  • Provide leadership to improve technical capability and capacity
  • Contribute to global air quality practice initiatives and share knowledge with internationally based colleagues

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in applicable engineering or science disciplines
  • Proven expertise in air quality dispersion modelling and meteorological modelling
  • Full understanding of current regulatory/planning framework/technical guidance for air quality assessments
  • Demonstrated experience in leading air quality projects
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering analytical tools, GIS, ERP systems, and MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint
