Companion Volunteer Opportunity

We are seeking a compassionate and friendly individual to join our team as a companion volunteer.

This rewarding role involves providing emotional support and companionship to individuals in need, promoting positive relationships and enhancing their overall well-being.

About the Role:

  • Provide supportive interactions with residents, focusing on building trust and rapport.
  • Promote respectful relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Understand and appreciate the value of companionship and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Engage in friendly and supportive conversations with residents.
  2. Foster positive relationships through active listening and empathy.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • No special skills required, just a warm heart and desire to make a difference.
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check necessary.
  • Two referees who can speak to your character must be provided.
  • Reliability, compassion, and enjoyment of spending time with clients essential qualities.
