Disability Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to provide vital support to clients with intellectual disabilities in Wonthaggi.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, including intellectual disability care, personal care, domestic assistance, medication prompting, and social support.

As a Disability Support Worker, you will work collaboratively with our team to provide a range of services, including Group Home shifts, and contribute to creating a safe and supportive environment for our clients.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities
  • Knowledge or skills in basic sign language
  • A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Disability (preferably)
  • Flexibility and availability to work a range of shifts, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
Work Arrangements

This is a casual position, with flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. You will be required to work a range of shifts, including:

  • Afternoon shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Weekend shifts

Supplemental pay types include penalty rates.
