Key Role Summary

This is a pivotal role in overseeing and implementing social media strategies across multiple platforms. As the Social Media Growth Lead, you will drive engagement, expand audience reach, and enhance brand awareness through your expertise in digital publishing and news sense.

  • Develop a comprehensive growth strategy for social media channels, collaborating with key stakeholders in editorial and audience growth.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of digital publishing principles, content optimization, and platform-specific best practices. They should have experience in leading and managing a social media team, with the ability to delegate tasks and drive team success.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and execute a growth strategy for social media channels, incorporating insights from key stakeholders.
  2. Guide the execution of the growth strategy by channel, creating a push and pull content ecosystem across owned and off-platform channels.
  3. Drive growth with existing audiences and attract new audiences to key marquee brands or platforms.
  4. Regularly monitor performance and adjust strategy for all Mamamia brand, show, and sub-brand channels.
  5. Track, analyze, and optimize key metrics like reach, engagement, and conversions to drive platform growth.
  6. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members on social media best practices and platform updates.
  7. Leverage social media monitoring tools and industry research to generate insights that inform data-driven content creation.
Requirements

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in digital media management, with a track record of successful social media strategies.
Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of digital publishing principles, content optimization, and platform-specific best practices.
Experience in leading and managing a social media team, with the ability to delegate tasks and drive team success.
