We are seeking enthusiastic qualified Youth Mentors to join our team.

**About the role**

Working alongside a co-mentor, you will provide support services to youth who are showing early signs of disengagement from learning. You will:

  • Provide group facilitation addressing social issues and implementing practical information to assist students to thrive.
  • Identify and support young people's educational needs and goals
  • Use a holistic approach to highlight current needs and supports to students, in collaboration with Well Being Teams in Schools.
  • Deliver individual and/or group sessions within a defined structure in resilience building, relationships, and emotional regulation skills.
  • Support the engagement of students from various backgrounds and assist with connections within a school environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Developing and delivering engaging programs that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  2. Providing one-on-one support and guidance to students to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
  3. Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
