We are seeking experienced and dedicated Therapeutic Youth Workers to join our team.

The ideal candidate will work in a residential program, maintaining a homelike environment and engaging children and young people in activities that promote wellbeing and capacity development.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the daily care needs of children and young people;
  • Provide therapeutic support and guidance, ensuring consistency of care at all times;
  • Support young people who exhibit trauma or pain-based behaviours of concern;
  • Facilitate the operation of the residential household, including cleaning, cooking and other relevant tasks;
  • Support and promote social, emotional, behavioural and developmental outcomes for children and young people.

Essential Criteria:

  • Diploma in community services, youth work or similar;
  • Full NSW Drivers Licence;
  • Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Unrestricted Visa Holder;
  • Current First Aid certificate;
  • Current CPR certificate;
  • WWCC;
  • Willingness to undergo a police check;
  • Vaccinated or exempt from vaccination against Covid-19;
  • Availability for day, evening, weekend and sleepover shifts.
