About the Role

This Permanent, Full-Time position is part of our Membership, Volunteers and Regional Operations Directorate. You will work closely with stakeholders to implement schools and youth engagement strategies and activities in the North East region of NSW.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the implementation of our regional Strategic Plan.
  • Develop and execute projects and initiatives to enhance youth engagement, aligned to the state-wide strategy.
  • Design and implement school engagement initiatives as determined by the Regional Director.
  • SUPPORT social justice and advocacy efforts for schools and youth in your region.
  • Foster relationships with members, volunteers, and the local community to develop activities for young people.
  • Collaborate on fundraising initiatives and appeals.
  • Utilize technology and social media to communicate effectively and share updates.
  • Prepare documentation and correspondence to facilitate communication and inform decision making.
  • Contribute to effective risk management procedures.
  • Support Regional Directors and other team members with tasks related to your role.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Education, Business, or Office Administration (or equivalent experience).
  • Certificate IV in Business or Office Administration (or equivalent).
  • Experience in community relations, events, or fundraising.
  • Analytical skills to inform decision making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  • High computer literacy, particularly in Microsoft products and human resources systems.
  • Experience working in membership-based organisations (desirable).
