About the RoleThis role is part of the Coal and Copper Asset Projects Operational Readiness Team, reporting to the Lead Surface Operations Readiness.
As an Operational Readiness Specialist, you will support the team in safely delivering operational specific requirements for assigned projects, collaborating with project functions and operational teams, and developing project operational readiness plans and deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure health, safety, environmental, and community responsibility is maintained through operational readiness activities.
- Develop and implement operational readiness deliverables, working with stakeholders to gain endorsement and meet key project milestones.
- Apply knowledge of operation systems, activities, risk handover, and key processes to ensure successful project integration.
- Identify and assess risks to operational readiness execution, highlighting and transferring project risks to operations.
- Collaborate with project, operational, and functional representatives to ensure successful project integration.
- Manage change in scope and schedule, communicating impact to operational readiness.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Engineering or trade qualification, with relevant operational readiness experience and resource industry experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of SAP and maintenance requirements, including document management systems.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and under own initiative.
This role is based in Adelaide, with a Mon-Fri roster, offering a quality standard of living without the high costs of most other Australian capital cities.
Some site travel to Roxby Downs may be required.
