We are seeking a skilled and experienced Process Technician to join our team at the Grassy mine site on King Island. As a Process Technician, you will play a critical role in the operation of the mine's crushing and grinding circuits, flotation and gravity processing, and other plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain plant equipment to optimize recovery and ensure safe and efficient working conditions.
- Conduct pre-start checks and ensure the work area is safe for personnel and equipment.
- Follow all environmental protection procedures and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Perform manual tasks, including lifting and handling equipment, and handling overflow spillages.
- Work collaboratively with the shift coordinator and other team members to meet production goals.
- Open class driver's license
- Understanding of the mining or construction working environment
- Clean bill of health for manual tasks
- Desirable: experience in mineral processing, operation of processing plant equipment, and knowledge of PLC and SCADA systems
