Podiatrist Healthcare Specialist

About the Role
As a part-time Podiatrist with Lifecare, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring optimal health outcomes through effective assessment, treatment planning, and treatment implementation in a multi-disciplinary setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive foot care services, including assessing, diagnosing, treating, and evaluating abnormalities and diseases related to the foot and lower limb.
- Conducting diabetic foot health assessments and providing appropriate advice and education.
- Offering expert footwear and foot care guidance to patients.
- Diagnosing and effectively treating musculoskeletal conditions using various treatment modalities.
- Providing biomechanical examinations and assessments to identify and address underlying issues.
- Offering expert advice on orthotic prescriptions and fittings.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation and treatment planning procedures.
- Making referrals to other healthcare professionals as necessary.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Hold professional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Be a qualified Podiatrist with relevant experience.
- Possess a valid Working with Children Check.
- Be willing to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application.
