Podiatrist Specialist

Role Overview

As a part-time Podiatrist at Lifecare, you will deliver high-quality treatment to our patients, ensuring optimal health outcomes. This involves conducting effective assessments, developing treatment plans, implementing treatments, and evaluating patient progress in a multi-disciplinary setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide general foot care, including assessing, diagnosing, treating, and evaluating abnormalities and diseases related to the foot and lower limb
• Conduct diabetic foot health assessments
• Offer footwear and foot care advice and education
• Diagnose and effectively treat musculoskeletal conditions through various treatments
• Conduct biomechanical examinations and assessments
• Provide advice on orthotic prescriptions and fittings
• Maintain quality documentation and treatment planning procedures
• Refer patients to other healthcare professionals as necessary

Requirements

• Professional registration with AHPRA
• Qualification as a Podiatrist
• Valid Working with Children Check
• Willingness to undergo a National Criminal history check upon successful application
