Job Title: Learning Support Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to provide high-quality support to students who require additional assistance in mainstream classes.

This includes:

  • Demonstrated capacity in planning, implementing and monitoring individualised education plans (IEPs) to improve learning outcomes for students with diverse needs
  • Approval to teach students with learning difficulties (secondary)
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with teachers to create and implement tailored learning programs for students with complex needs

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, effective communication, and a proven ability to build strong relationships with students, colleagues, parents, external agencies, and the wider community.

They will also have the ability to work independently, think critically, and make informed decisions to ensure student success.
