About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team at EBR. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our HR department and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Onboarding
    • Post job advertisements on reputable job boards and manage the recruitment process
    • Administer the onboarding process for new employees, including producing contracts and sending out onboarding documents
  • Casual Conversions and Absenteeism
    • Prepare weekly reports on casual staff hours and convert casual staff to permanent employees as needed
    • Run reports on staff absenteeism and assist managers in addressing attendance issues
  • Performance and Discipline
    • Prepare disciplinary letters and other HR-related documents using established templates
  • Industrial Relations and Safety
    • Understand and apply key clauses of the EBA
    • Prepare incident reports and monitor safety incident reports
  • Recognition and Reporting
    • Manage the staff recognition program and capture nominations for future reporting
    • Prepare reports on safety KPIs, HR KPIs, and other relevant metrics
  • Project Management
    • Implement the Oracle HCM system and ensure its effective use within the organization
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
  • Knowledge of HR principles and practices
