Job Opportunity: Value Added Sourcing Professional

We are seeking a seasoned sourcing expert to join our Commercial team and contribute to the success of our Own Brand function.


About The Role

This position will leverage procurement strategies to drive added value within the wider Own Brand function. Reporting to the Own Brand Value Added Sourcing Lead, you will support key stakeholders in several business units to deliver COGS savings and drive alignment of sourcing strategies with enterprise priorities.

  • Support end-to-end efficiency initiatives and deliver strategic sourcing solutions
  • Contribute to volume and share growth by supporting sourcing initiatives aligned with enterprise priorities
  • Drive collaboration among internal stakeholders on priority alignment and benefit realisation
  • Develop supplier partnerships focused on value creation, supply security, sustainability, and P&L benefits
About You And Your Skills

We require a strategic sourcing or procurement professional with a strong blend of commercial acumen, cross-functional collaboration skills, and value-drive thinking. Individuals with prior experience in category management or senior roles that can demonstrate a sound understanding of manufacturing processes would be advantageous. Strong project management, planning, problem-solving, and time management skills are essential.

  • Proven experience within the retail or FMCG industry
  • Experience in complex commercial negotiations across multiple categories, jurisdictions, and stakeholder groups
  • Critical thinking with the ability to operate in a dynamic, customer-driven retail environment
  • Developed presentation and facilitation skills
