Lead Energy Infrastructure Project Manager

You will play a key role in leading engineering teams and contributing to business development. Your focus will be on providing technical leadership, fostering a culture of teamwork, and driving engineering's contribution to project success.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a senior manager on complex infrastructure projects, relevant tertiary qualifications, and strong industry connections.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership for engineering during the tender phase of projects
  • Foster a culture of teamwork within the engineering team and across the wider organization
  • Lead the selection and collaboration with external design partners, fostering strong working relationships
  • Assign key personnel and conduct peer reviews and technical audits
  • Drive engineering's contribution to business development, including building client relationships
  • Lead staff training and support ongoing professional development

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience as a senior/manager on major energy infrastructure projects (HV, Substations, Transmission Lines)
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., BSc Engineering)
  • CPEng or eligibility to obtain
  • Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering institution (e.g., Engineers Australia)
