Senior Employee Relations Specialist

As a senior specialist in employee relations, you will be responsible for managing intricate workplace matters. This role involves conducting comprehensive investigations into various ER issues, preparing documents and responses for employment cases, and representing the organization at conciliations and dispute proceedings.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure strict adherence to process guidelines and provide counsel on legal principles.
- Conduct thorough examinations into grievances, bullying, harassment, fraud or misconduct cases.
- Prepare and present documents and responses for employment cases.
- Represent the organization at conciliations and dispute proceedings.
- Manage complex cases involving team members with health issues.
- Provide coaching, guidance and recommendations to leaders on legislation, policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in HR or ER/IR roles, including investigations, case management and employment laws.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Sound knowledge of ER/IR legislation within different jurisdictions.
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills.
