Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team at Lucky Wok, a Chinese restaurant in Tamworth, NSW. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences and outstanding customer satisfaction, while also fostering a fulfilling and satisfying career for our staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement menus in collaboration with our chefs to offer exciting and diverse culinary options for our customers.
  • Organize and oversee special functions to enhance customer experience and drive patronage.
  • Manage the purchasing and pricing of goods within budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels and financial transactions to ensure efficient operations.
  • Ensure dining facilities comply with health regulations and maintain a clean, functional, and welcoming appearance of the premise.
  • Engage with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service, addressing any concerns promptly.
  • Select, train, and supervise waiting and kitchen staff to ensure high performance and adherence to standards.
  • Assist in taking reservations, greeting guests, and taking orders when necessary to ensure excellent customer service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to manage and support team members to perform their duties to the best of their abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • Knowledge of purchasing and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with health regulations and food safety standards.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to creating a positive and collaborative work environment.
