Cerebral Palsy Alliance is seeking two passionate Disability Support Workers to join our Youth Individualized Program (IP) team in Sydney's Western Sydney. As a Disability Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young people with disabilities.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for individuals who share our commitment to empowering young people with disabilities to live their best lives. You will work 1:1 with clients, helping them build confidence and independence through various activities such as art, cooking, gardening, yoga, gym, or wellness routines. You may also be involved in supporting clients with mealtimes, personal care, and medication management.
Your role will involve working collaboratively with our team to develop individualized support plans that cater to each client's unique needs and goals. You will also have the opportunity to engage with the community and support clients in achieving their aspirations.
Required Skills and Qualifications- A genuine passion for working with young people with disabilities
- NSW P2 or full driver's license
- Ability to work 9.00am to 3.00pm for 4 days a week
- Travel across our day centers in Western Sydney
