We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Digital Communications Officer. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the organisation's social media engagement strategy, creating engaging content, and proactively engaging with online communities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive social media engagement strategy to achieve effective online engagement with communities.
  • Create high-quality social media content that is informative, engaging, and relevant to our target audience.
  • Proactively engage with online communities through various social media platforms to promote crime prevention initiatives, maintain community confidence, and provide information on public safety matters.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to execute operational and organisational objectives.
  • Moderate high-priority social media content published across our platforms.
  • Provide social media training to internal staff to ensure consistency of tone and approach to social media engagement.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have formal qualifications and/or experience in communications, media, and/or marketing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also essential.
