Leaders in quality and safety are sought after to drive HSEQ excellence within our organisation. This role is pivotal in maintaining ISO 9001 certification and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) compliance.

The Opportunity
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and control processes to optimise product impact and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage incident reporting through the Visy Incident Management System (VIMS) and Noggin for regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct regular HSEQ audits, implement corrective actions, and ensure adherence to organisational policies.
  • Collaborate with production teams to enhance quality, reduce waste, and improve held stock levels.
  • Promote a zero-incident safety culture through targeted awareness programs and training.
  • Build relationships with customers/suppliers to address concerns, ensure compliance, and support label development.
Key Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in HSEQ roles within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong background in ISO 9001, GMP, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Experience in managing customer/supplier complaints and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Knowledge of ISO 4801, 45001, and regulatory compliance in workplace health and safety.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to influence and mentor teams in quality and safety.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to drive HSEQ improvements.
  • Certifications in Work Health and Safety (WHS), Risk Assessment, and Document Control.
  • Desirable: Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt) and HACCP certification.
