Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated licensed electrician or apprentice to join our team.

This role will involve working on various electrical and communications projects across residential, commercial buildings, and strata services.

Responsibilities include performing electrical, data, and service maintenance, new installs, and fault finding.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with project managers, builders, customers, clients, and fellow staff members.
  • Ability to follow directions and read plans and drawings communicate well.
  • Work on new builds including construction sites both residential and commercial.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with construction programs when required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industry and be directed to attend many sites.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally between Sydney and Central Coast sites as required.

Requirements:

  • For tradesmen: minimal 1-2 years of experience in the trade, with a good understanding and knowledge to work independently and keen to learn and show a desire to be part of a team environment and take directions.
  • For apprentices: we are open to interview candidates at all levels to find the right fit for our team, be that first to fourth year.
  • Experience with fault finding installations, diagnosing problems, and repairs.
  • Willingness to work across different areas of the industry.
  • Ability to work autonomously or in a team environment.
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation and self-care.
  • Requirement to keep company vehicle clean and organized if one is provided.
  • Requirement to submit daily job sheets and weekly timesheets as part of the role.
  • Must have current driver's license.
  • Construction Induction card (White Card).
  • NSW Electrical Contractor Licence for the Tradesperson.
  • NSW Electrical Contractor Licence must be obtained within 3 months of starting.
  • EWP licence preferable.
  • Police check or willingness to obtain is a mandatory requirement prior to starting as per several client's obligations.
  • Must be an Australian citizen.
