**About the role**

RK Solar & Consulting Services is seeking a passionate and motivated Trade Assistant to join our team in Castle Hill, NSW. As an Trade Assistant, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working alongside our skilled electricians, while also completing your formal electrical training. This is a full-time role, offering the chance to build a rewarding career in the electrical industry.

**What you'll be doing**
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar systems and other related equipments like batteries, EV chargers.
- Learn to interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
- Develop practical skills in electrical wiring, testing, and troubleshooting
- Participate in on-the-job training and work towards completion of your electrical apprenticeship
- Maintain a safe and tidy work environment, following all safety protocols
- Provide general support to the electrical team as needed
