About the Role

This position is part of a multi-skilled Civil Works team responsible for managing capital and maintenance projects across various departments. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure successful project outcomes and maintain high-quality standards while ensuring cost competitiveness.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for working collaboratively as part of a cohesive team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate capital and maintenance projects across various sites and teams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and prioritize work tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports related to project activities and outcomes.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety and adhering to standard operating procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Work Zone Traffic Management Certificate.
  • An MR Truck Licence.
  • Experience in civil works and driving MR/HR trucks.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of safe and efficient work practices, particularly those presented in Council's Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Basic understanding of maths, plan reading, quantity estimation, and civil principles.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to prioritize workload and meet set timelines.
