Job Opportunity:

The role of Sterilising Technician is crucial in the sterilisation process, promoting a safe and healthy environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify, handle, decontaminate, package, sterilise and dispatch reusable medical devices to various departments and external customers.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of instruments/equipment and supplies processed in the sterilisation department and initiate appropriate action following protocols for decontamination and sterilisation of equipment.
  • Apply infection control principles applicable to sterilisation department processes and procedures as guided by AS5369:2023 Standard.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of and experience in sterilising technology or qualifications in Sterilising Technology course.
  • Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment with strong communication and teamwork skills.
