Client Host Opportunity

The Client Host will be the service ambassador of the boutique, providing exceptional hospitality to clients and ensuring their experience is complemented by our services.

The ideal candidate will have previous customer service experience, a high standard of presentation, interpersonal skills, and grooming. They will be a team player, embodying the values of the Hermès House, with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced retail environment.

As a Client Host, you will be responsible for managing and supporting private client appointments, overseeing floor operations, offering exceptional first impressions, and extending service gestures. You will also engage with clients on the floor, introduce them to relevant team members, and ensure the store and private client areas are always clean and perfectly presented.

  • Manage and support all private client appointments in the boutique whilst ensuring all client services tools are well managed.
  • Overseeing floor operations so that all clients are attended to, this includes queue, appointment and in-store waiting time management.
  • Offering an exceptional first impression as you greet clients when they enter the boutique and while guiding them through the boutique.
  • Leading boutique tours, providing architectural, historical and relevant information.
  • Engaging with clients on the floor and introducing them to relevant team members.
  • Extending service gestures including but not limited to client requests, repairs, online pickups, product adjustments and client resolutions for service issues.

In addition to these responsibilities, you will also provide sales support by maintaining visual merchandising on the floor, working with the Service Liaison to offer beverage and refreshment service, and liaising with the security team to offer direction and advice where necessary.

Responsibilities
  • Reporting any external activity of the boutique to the Management team.
  • Identifying areas of improvement and sharing ideas and best practices.
  • Informing management about potential client complaints.
