Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 + super

About the Role:

This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Payroll Officer with approx 3+ years experience. You will be reporting into a knowledgeable Payroll Manager and also be supported by the wider payroll team.

You will be processing high volume payroll using Preceda payroll system; current or prior experience with this system will be highly advantageous but not essential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • End to end payroll processing for weekly staff members.
  • Perform payroll administration and maintain the payroll system with up to date employee records.
  • High volume processing of terminations.
  • Setting up new hires, status adjustments, answering general payroll queries.
  • Keep up to date with local legislation, awards, enterprise agreements, etc.
  • Assist with any payroll projects or ad hoc tasks.
About You:

Requirements:

  • Preferably have worked payroll for 3+ years, processing end to end payroll.
  • Preceda exposure would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Ability to interpret awards and legislation.
  • Experience completing a range of payroll courses would be an advantage.
  • Knowledge or prior experience working within a high volume environment would be beneficial but not essential.
