Amida Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead their demolition projects in the CBD and Greater Melbourne.
Our client is a well-established civil contractor, looking for a dedicated Senior Project Manager to join their growing business. They are responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of challenging projects across various industry sectors.
Types of projects include predominantly demolition with typical values from $1m to $20m+, and you will be responsible for running one large project or 2 to 3 smaller ones.
Must have previous experience as a Demolition Project Manager and previous experience of delivering a $20m+ demolition as a no.1 is ideal.
You will be working between head office and site visits, and must have proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach.
This role requires effective problem-solving abilities, conflict resolution skills and ability to manage client expectations.
Responsibilities- Working on tenders and planning and scheduling of construction activities
- Management of site project teams and quality assurance
- Cost and time management, preparation of management reports and resolving site issues
- Liaising with key clients and stakeholders, coordinating internal and external resources
- Recruitment and mentoring of teams
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar and 5 – 15+ years' management experience on demolition and civil construction projects
- Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate, high level of organisation and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
