Project Delivery Role

This challenging project delivery role involves working with a reputable tier 1 demolition contractor on city and regional demolition projects.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for contributing to the successful execution of large and complex projects with values ranging from $1m to $20m+.

The position involves extensive site visits and working closely with head office teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

This is a demanding project management role, requiring previous experience in demolition with no need for estimating expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tender preparation and submission
  • Planning and scheduling of construction activities
  • Site team management and coordination
  • Quality Assurance, Cost and Time Management
  • Preparation of regular project reports
  • Effective issue resolution and stakeholder management
  • Liaison with key clients and stakeholders
  • Resource coordination and allocation
  • Team recruitment and mentoring
Essential Qualifications and Requirements
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar field
  • 5 – 15+ years' management experience on demolition and civil construction projects with a project value of $1m to $20m+
  • Project management qualifications advantageous
  • Proven understanding of construction processes and practices
  • Ability to lead and delegate effectively
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • High level of organisation and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
