Job Summary

This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety and compliance of energy isolation programs. It involves coordinating with entities to deliver safe and uniform work control, isolating hazardous energy sources.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage the integrated LOTO program, including adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Provide input and support to Construction, Operations, and Commissioning teams in piping, mechanical, and electrical isolations.
  • Identify isolation boundaries based on work scope and develop/issue Energy Isolation Permits (EIPs).
  • Administer and enforce the energy isolation program, maintaining thorough records.
  • Coordinate activities with other disciplines and stakeholders, monitoring subcontractor compliance with energy isolation.
  • Maintain and provide training on EIPs, overseeing installation and inspection of LOTO equipment.
  • Support project activities with other duties as directed, participating in planning, turnover coordination, material management, quality control, and environmental safety and health.
  • Monitor and resolve issues related to energy isolation and EIPs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent, plus 5-8 years of relevant experience, or 9-12 years of relevant experience.
  • 10 years of energy isolation and permitting office experience, with 5 years in commissioning, maintenance, and/or operations.
  • Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities, capable of motivating teams in a collaborative environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of industry-standard applications, including workflow automation tools.
