Job Summary

As a seasoned DevSecOps professional, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing secure DevOps services and pipelines.

This role requires expertise in system administration, automation, and cloud technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Python, and proficiency in Azure cloud environments or similar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and implement secure DevOps services and pipelines.
  • Develop and automate ICT systems, including network infrastructure and services.
  • Implement security controls in accordance with guidelines such as the Australian Government ISM.
  • Author build guides and procedures and gain approval.
  • Build and maintain Defence cloud environments.
  • Provide technical support and services as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong system administration background in Windows, Linux, and cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Terraform, Bicep, Ansible, Python, and Bash.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Azure cloud technologies or similar.
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure and services, including IDAM, logging and monitoring, backup and recovery, host and network-based firewalls, reverse and forward proxies, OS patching and hardening, PKI, performance optimisation, and network security.
  • DevSecOps and agile practices; Cyber security practices; Testing and quality assurance; Producing and maintaining high-quality technical documentation.
  • NV1 clearance or higher is mandatory.
  • SFIA- Level 4.
