About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned DevOps professional to join our team in delivering and maintaining robust, automated cloud infrastructure using modern practices. This role involves working across secure Azure and Microsoft 365 environments, implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), aligning with Essential 8 strategies, and contributing to program security accreditation and operational outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in shaping cloud delivery in a classified, mission-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage automated cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep, and related IaC tools.
  • Lead the development and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines using platforms such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
  • Support secure and scalable cloud platforms across Azure and M365, with a strong focus on operational resilience.
  • Align deployments with ACSC Essential 8 and ISM frameworks, supporting incident response and compliance.
  • Mentor team members and embed DevOps best practices across infrastructure and automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver outcomes that align with organisational goals.
What We Are Looking For
  • Demonstrated experience in enterprise cloud environments (Azure/M365), including provisioning, automation, and support.
  • Deep knowledge of Terraform and/or Bicep for infrastructure deployment and configuration.
  • Experience building and maintaining DevOps pipelines, infrastructure automation, and secure cloud operations.
  • Familiarity with ACSC Essential 8, ISM, and government security protocols.
  • Proficiency in scripting (e.g. PowerShell, Python) for cloud operations and automation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly with technical and senior stakeholders.
  • Tertiary ICT qualifications and/or relevant industry experience highly regarded.
