We are seeking a highly skilled Risk and Compliance professional to manage our risk and compliance framework. The ideal candidate will have significant leadership experience in risk management, compliance or internal audit roles in complex financial services organisations.

Key Responsibilities include managing the implementation, execution and monitoring of the risk and compliance management framework, partnering with stakeholders to identify, assess and monitor risks, and providing advice on compliance and risk frameworks, policies, procedures and controls.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for liaising closely with the Second Line of Defence on all divisional-specific risk management and compliance matters, advising on risk management matters and developing processes to manage risk in line with the Board approved risk appetite and Allianz Risk Management Framework.

Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
  • Significant leadership experience in risk management, compliance or internal audit role in a complex, matrixed financial services organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing the level of risk and in developing and executing plans to mitigate risk.
  • Demonstrated technical understanding of design and operating effectiveness of controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders to establish strong professional relationships and influence outcomes.
