Job Title: Technical Project LeadJob Description:

As a Technical Project Lead, you will be responsible for the delivery of professional services to customers. You will communicate the value proposition of our solutions to prospective clients and engage with prospects to comprehend their individual needs and problems.

You will prepare and present technical proposals to tackle specific prospect requirements or issues. Your role will involve providing exceptional, professional, and informed consulting services both internally and to clients. You will also supply clients in Australia with product support as required and deliver product-specific training in accordance with global training protocols.

Key Accountabilities:
  • Communicate the value proposition of our solutions to prospective clients at presentations, workshops, industry events, and seminars.
  • Engage with prospects in order to comprehend their individual needs and problems and then conceive corresponding technical solutions.
  • Prepare and present technical proposals to tackle specific prospect requirements or issues.
  • Provide exceptional, professional, and informed consulting services both internally and to AVEVA's clients.
  • Supply clients in Australia with product support as required.
  • Deliver product-specific training in accordance with AVEVA's global training protocols, both in AVEVA training centres and at client locations.
  • Develop technical abilities within the primary domain as well as other AVEVA product areas to aid in the expansion of the technical team.
Important Working Relationships:

Develop strong working relationships with clients and give the highest level of customer service and professionalism at all times. Work with the sales team to discover opportunities, provide technical support at all levels of prospect engagement, and ensure that suggested solutions are feasible and in line with AVEVA's strategic objectives.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:

You should have a technically competent understanding of Integrated Engineering & Design. You should also be able to work effectively in a dynamic team and have excellent problem-solving skills.

Ability to investigate the needs/problems of prospective customers with little guidance and effective management and handling of multiple and possibly competing commitments simultaneously.

Proven customer-facing skills and the ability to present complex technical solutions. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and high level of expertise with the tools required to fulfil the obligations of the specific assignment.

Associate's or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant engineering discipline and proven 5 years or more experience of AVEVA products or similar technologies.

Proven 5 - 10 years or more knowledge of the plant engineering, design, procurement and construction business either from an owner-operator or an engineering contractor background.

Desirable Qualifications:

Knowledge and understanding of plant engineering and design processes. Proven experience of AVEVA products or similar technologies. Basic English would be an advantage. Knowledge in programming. Exposure to PML and/or C# would be an advantage.
