About the Role

As a Network Engineer at Infosys, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's data centre network infrastructure. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to work with a global leader in digital services and consulting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct capacity planning, performance monitoring, and tuning of data centre infrastructure components.
  • Implement new releases and investigate and install new releases and patches to ensure the stability and availability of technology infrastructure services.
  • Provide escalated support and technical assistance, and assist with the monitoring of issue resolution to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Assist in the design of backup and recovery procedures, and plan and undertake effective Disaster Recovery and testing procedures.
  • Undertake problem determination and root cause analysis to ensure permanent corrective actions are implemented.
  • Plan, review, and critique proposed changes, and implement where applicable to ensure successful implementation of infrastructure changes.
Requirements
  • 6 years' experience in working in data centre technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in data centre network and DCNM tool, and EVPN understanding.
  • Extensive experience in routing, switching, Infoblox, DNS, and Gigamon.
  • Experience in network operations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in working in data centre technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in data centre network and DCNM tool, and EVPN understanding.
  • Hands-on experience in routing, switching, Infoblox, DNS, and Gigamon.
  • SD WAN understanding.
  • Sound networking skills in Cisco.
  • Ability to create network design documentation.
  • Strong implementation/build capability.
