The Opportunity
The HSE Officer role contributes to the development and implementation of HSE policies, procedures, and processes to ensure ongoing compliance with ElectraNet's HSE Management System. The successful candidate will enjoy the challenge of implementing new ideas and solutions that continually transform our understanding of HSE performance.
About You
To be successful in this critical role, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Applying theoretical and practical knowledge to solve commonly encountered problems
- Advanced word, excel, and data entry skills
- Undertaking ongoing tasks on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis
- Demonstrable knowledge of data analysis, investigation, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrable, advanced written and verbal communication skills, good interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet key deadlines while ensuring accuracy for a multitude of reports
- Demonstrable ability to work as a team member and actively promote office harmony
- Flexible approach to working hours and after-hours commitments
- Auditing against ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
