Personal Care Role

In this role, you will be responsible for providing person-centred support to elderly clients enabling them to live independently and comfortably in their own homes. The ideal candidate will deliver compassionate care with dignity and respect.

The primary focus of the job is to assist with personal care tasks including bathing, showering, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, basic household duties, personal hygiene, mobility assistance, transportation to medical appointments and social outings. This position requires a caring individual who can provide companionship and foster independence whilst maintaining clients' lifestyle and wellbeing.

  • Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, showering, grooming and dressing while upholding each client's dignity and comfort.
  • Deliver personalised care based on unique preferences, routines, and needs of each client.
  • Support daily living activities both in-home and in the community including:

- Meal preparation and basic household duties.

- Personal hygiene and mobility assistance.

- Transportation to medical appointments and social outings.

- Companionship and social support.

- Foster independence and help clients maintain their lifestyle and wellbeing.

Working Hours

Monday to Friday, afternoon shifts are available.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years experience as a Personal Care Worker. Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (or an equivalent qualification). Driver's licence and vehicle. Current Car Insurance & Car Registration. National police check. First aid & CPR. Blue Card.

Preferred Skills

Strong interpersonal skills. Proficient in personal care tasks. Excellent time management abilities.
