Right at Home Central Qld is expanding and require PCWs to service Bundaberg and surrounding areas.

Commencing on a casual basis with the potential to increase to Permanent Part Time employment.

We support people living with Alzheimer's, dementia and cognitive decline, disabilities, post-operative care needs and older Australians. Our services include aged and disability care, transitional care, hospital in the home and palliative care.

We are seeking experienced Personal Care Workers who are enthusiastic and passionate about providing a caring, compassionate, respectful and high-quality service. Clients and caregivers are matched based on skill level, personality traits and preferences to support long-term relationships.

As typical in the role of in-home aged care support, you will be assisting with:

- Personal care (Cert III or above, qualified applicants)
- Domestic assistance
- Transportation
- Meal preparation
- Medication prompting
- and other activities of daily living

Qualifications

- Certificate III in Aged Care AND or Individual care
- Satisfactory Australian National Police check
- Current first aid and CPR certificate
- Driver's licence and their own car (full comprehensive insurance)

A successful candidate will have the following:

- Ability to provide personal and domestic care
- A passion for respectfully empowering and caring for people
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- High level of time management and organisational ability
- Willingness to participate in further education opportunities Essential
