About the Opportunity

The General Manager will have overall responsibility and strategic direction of our business in ACT, Canberra's leading online property marketplace.

This is a unique chance to build on a well-established brand that is already the local market leader, shape a fantastic culture, and become a true ambassador and figurehead in the ACT Real Estate industry.

The ideal candidate will have circa 6+ years of Senior Sales / Director level experience, with expertise in both strategy development and cross-functional leadership across teams of up to 50. They should also have a strong understanding of either Real Estate or Digital trends.

The role requires exceptional financial acumen - P&Ls and forecasting, results driven thinking, creativity, strategic planning, and a hands-on approach. The ability to travel interstate on a quarterly basis and experience with diverse product suites are also essential.

The General Manager will lead the development and execution of overall strategy for our business, build operational capabilities across a team of Functional Leads to increase efficiency, effectiveness and quality across all key areas. They will also retain and grow revenue, improve product adoption across digital, print and SaaS solutions to achieve performance targets, create a dynamic and engaged culture, present key updates and strategies to the Executive Leadership Team, think outside the box and identify new opportunities in the market to accelerate revenue growth or mitigate losses, remove roadblocks and enable their team to focus on what they do best, and attend industry events and key client functions as a recognised and trusted figurehead in the region.
