Lead Dental Craftsperson

This role is an opportunity to deliver exceptional oral health services as a skilled dental technology professional.

You will:

• Design, construct and maintain fixed and removable full and partial dentures, orthodontic, implant retained and maxillo-facial appliances of varying complexity.
• Work independently to provide specialised technical services requiring advanced judgement and decision-making.
• Collaborate with clinical practitioners in treatment planning to optimise patient outcomes.
• Provide guidance, mentoring and support to less experienced technicians, students and other staff members.

We are seeking a highly motivated and technically skilled Dental Technician who demonstrates leadership, innovation and a commitment to quality care. To succeed in this role you will bring:

• A Diploma (or equivalent) qualification in Dental Technology, with post-registration experience in a full-service dental laboratory.
• Advanced technical knowledge and expertise in dental appliance design, construction and problem-solving across a range of complex cases.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary oral health team and with diverse stakeholders.
• A proactive approach to service improvement, mentoring and contributing to workforce planning and professional development.
• Whilst not essential, experience in Orthodontics and/or CAD CAM / 3D Printing is highly desirable.
