About the position: Totally Smiles Morningside is currently looking for a casual Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our friendly and supportive team in this dual role. We are a gorgeous cozy family orientated 2 surgery practice. There will be shifts available Monday to Saturday. Come and join our long-standing team with the Practice Manager and Lead Dentist having worked together for 20 years at Morningside. Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Assist with patient management, including greeting patients, preparing them for procedures, and ensuring their comfort. Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilise dental instruments, assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, and maintain a clean and organized treatment area. Inventory Management: Monitor dental supplies levels, ensuring the treatment room is well-stocked and organised. Patient Education: Provide patients with post-operative care instructions and educate them about oral hygiene and preventive care. Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and other staff to ensure a smooth workflow and positive patient experience. Compliance: Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols, as well as regulatory requirements in the dental practice.
