About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Portfolio Manager to join our team. As an Insurance Portfolio Manager, you will be responsible for evaluating and managing medium to complex risks within our property and casualty portfolios.

Operating within delegated underwriting authority and following established strategies, this role will support the profitable growth of our business by maximising existing and new business opportunities.

This includes developing and maintaining broker and client relationships, as well as delivering professional and efficient customer service to achieve profitable premium growth and underwriting profitability in our core segments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the growth and maintenance of profitable, sustainable business within allocated portfolios
  • Undertake personal underwriting of schemes and medium to large sized policies, including new business
  • Deliver professional and efficient customer service to brokers and distribution partners, as well as internal colleagues
  • Contribute to the alignment of risk and compliance management practices within allocated portfolios by sitting at the first line of defence
Requirements
  • Multi-line experience in property and casualty insurance
  • Experience in dealing directly with brokers and clients
  • Strong commercial lines product knowledge
  • Completed or undertaking insurance qualification in ANZIIF Associate level and/or relevant tertiary qualifications related to Insurance
