Order Picker with LO License Job

We are seeking an experienced Order Picker to join our team and operate the order picker machine, pick items from specific locations within the warehouse and maintain accurate inventory records.

The Role:

  • Operating the Order Picker: Safely maneuver the equipment and navigate through the warehouse aisles.
  • Picking Orders: Pick items based on customer orders or inventory needs, using handheld scanners or other technology to identify correct items and quantities.
  • Safety Protocols: Adhere to safety protocols, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), inspecting equipment before use, maintaining a safe speed and being aware of surroundings.
  • Inventory Management: Update stock levels, report damaged or missing items and organize the warehouse for efficient storage and retrieval.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse personnel, prioritizing tasks, following instructions and completing orders within designated timeframes.
  • Time Management: Prioritize tasks, follow pick lists or instructions and complete orders within designated timeframes.

Key Skills and Requirements:

  • Must have LO License
  • Flexible with roster
  • Attention to detail
  • Happy outgoing personality
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Well-presented and spoken, able to perform manual lifting
  • Previous warehouse order picking experience preferred
  • Alcohol brand/product knowledge advantageous
