Lead Innovation in Curriculum Development

Join us as we strive to be a beacon of excellence in education. We are seeking an accomplished educator to lead our Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) learning area, fostering collaboration and driving innovation in curriculum design.

  • This leadership position entails mentoring teachers, promoting professional growth, and guiding the development of high-quality teaching practices within the HASS and Languages disciplines.

As a key member of our middle leadership team, you will contribute to whole-school initiatives, strategic planning, and the Anglican ethos that underpins our culture.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement engaging curricula that support student achievement and growth.
  2. Collaborate with staff to foster intercultural understanding and promote language learning across the school.
  3. Mentor and support teachers through collaborative planning, professional learning, and performance development processes.
  4. Contribute to the effective management of resources within your learning areas.
  5. Participate in curriculum design, assessment moderation, and strategic planning.
Requirements
  • A degree qualification supported by a Post Graduate Diploma of Education or equivalent.
  • Registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia.
  • Hold a current Working with Children Card or be willing to obtain.
  • Strong administrative and organisational capabilities, including excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with an inclusive and approachable manner.
